Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was superb, offering something for everyone's taste, with brilliant music at the bar. I couldn't fault anything about the hotel. The spacious room at the back was beautifully decorated, featuring the comfiest bed.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The room was lovely with a king-sized double bed and a beautiful view of the lake; however, the noise from the hallway made it hard to sleep. The service was a mix of rudeness and excellence, with some forgetfulness about items. The location offered easy access to nearby attractions but lacked a vibrant atmosphere. The dining options were good overall, except for limited healthy choices. The facilities were satisfactory.
The hotel has a lovely setting overlooking Lough Ennell, away from the hustle and bustle of Mullingar town. The rooms come with tea/coffee making facilities and a multi-channel TV, but there was a cigarette smell and the main light didn't work. The service was friendly but forgot some essentials. The location is superb with beautiful views, near Mullingar and Belvedere House. The dining experience was disappointing in terms of presentation and temperature.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room was a good size, clean, and unexpectedly comfortable as it turned out to be a suite. However, having the room designated as a family room led to children running around, which could be a safety concern. The armchairs needed some attention due to staining but overall provided a cozy stay.
I had a lovely time at the hotel despite being somewhat overpriced for its average quality on the outskirts of Mullingar. The front rooms were enjoyable, but evening check-ins were slightly late for comfort.
Our stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms, although comfortable and well-appointed, were sometimes disrupted by children playing and running around. The service, while generally friendly and responsive, had some small lapses in attention to detail. The location offered stunning views but was slightly inconvenient for reaching town. Dining was a delightful experience overall, though with occasional slow service. The facilities were satisfactory, and overall, we had a pleasant stay.
